About Nepali Calendar (Bikram Sambat)

The Nepali calendar, also known as Bikram Sambat (BS), is the official calendar of Nepal. It is approximately 56.7 years ahead of the Gregorian calendar (AD). The new year begins in mid-April (Baisakh 1).
